Frequently Asked Questions
What is your photography style?
I try to let all my years of experience guide me through every moment and every photo. Some moments you want to let unfold and capture it quickly. Other moments you might be willing to go the extra mile for that epic sunrise shot over the river. I come preapred for any situation to allow the photo session to always flow smoothly and never feel like work.
Do you pose your clients?
Of course, that’s my job. And my goal is that you won’t even realize I’m posing you. More like “guiding” you. Once you get comfortable I won’t even have to pose you. That’s the beauty of it all.
Do you do a lot of editing and Photoshop?
The editing process often only involves basic light, contrast and color adjustments in Adobe Lightroom. Photoshop is occasionally used to do small jobs like removing someone from the background. But I’m actually well trained in Phothsop for photography retouching which is why I offer it in my headshot packages. And I even offer private lessons in Lightroom and Photoshop.
What photography gear do you use?
My main camera is the Sony a7riii and my current favorite lens to use is the Tamron 28-75 2.8
How did you teach yourself photography?
I read a lot of books and did a lot of practice. I now offer private photography lessons to share everything I’ve already learned including: Shooting in manual mode, natural light photography, portrait photography, studio photography, and more.
How do I book a session?
All clients must fill out an inquiry form before we can begin the booking process. Once you share a few details about you and your photo concept then I can share the proper pricing and booking information.
